RE: Fuel fill rubber hose to gas tank, HELP!!

If you have to have help and suggestions as to how to remove the clamps then how will you ever be able to retighten them..this is not an area where there is room for a lot of guessing and mistakes. I wld sugest you take it to a garage where some with more experance can do the job rite..there is nothing worse than being 1000 miles from home and discover that you cant fill your tanks cause the filler hose has slipped off the connector on the tank or even worse like a fuel leak that can really become dicey and quick. But if you insist I used a mirrow and several etensions on my 1/4 inch drive ratchet and a flash lite..

RE: Aluminum one piece roof leaks,,

you can install the rubber4 over the alumn but it will only be covering the bad roof with a new roof and if the alumn has any jagged edges it will very quickly rub a hole thru the rubber..the best thing to do is to tear all the old alumn off and Im sure you will find several rotted spots in the wood luan and needs to be replaced. yes it is worth it if you want to keep the camper. its a lot of work and you can put a rubber roof on over the new repaired wood roof. be sure to follow the instructions very carefully.take your time and it will be fine... post pics on here and ask a lot of questions cus we old retired ppl dont have anything to do but sit on this forum and will love to answer your questions.

RE: Gel coat peeling

Water can possibly enter the f/g behind the cel-coat and it can freeze and cause a lot of problems...you must try to do this rite or you will have problems down the road...spraying it over with clear coat or any other typical paint will not work..sand it out with a course grit sand paper ((180)) and fill it with a good two part filler ((not bondo)) ,,sand it smooth and then re paint it with a good auto motive paint ((rattle can )).
