Wow, I saw "Wife enhancement", and was all over that.
So far so good but always looking for something better. If this doesn't work out as well as I hoped I have a Yagi directional antenna I will try but the 11" antenna with the inside booster is working well and it requires no setup as the antenna stay outside and hooked up all the time.
The park we were in had quite a few wifi antenna stations around the park and I could pick up on them all with the worst at 3 bars so it is a huge improvement over what I used to get.
Been looking all over searching for the best route for wifi enhancement. I have right now an Alfa wifi booster inside with an 11" 9DBI wifi booster antenna outside. This weekend was our first trip with this setup and I had really good wifi reception but it just may have been the park. I will say it was the best reception I ever had in an RV park with 100% reception which made working nice, I was able to stay in touch and managed to get some work done, I know its vacation and i should throw my lap top away but the job does pay for the fun!
I would like to hear from anyone who has a good booster setup and where to get it from. Thanks in advance!
Thank you everyone for all the awesome input. You all have given a lot of good advice on really cool places to see and we are looking forward to seeing quite a few of them. I just finished booking all of our reservations today and it looks like we have extended stops in Apache Junction, AZ at Meridian RV Resort, Distant drums resort in Camp Verde, AZ and American RV park in Albuquerque,NM along with several small stops along the way from San Antonio and back.
Lots of good ideas shared and we are looking forward to where the wind blows us on our daily excursions away from base camp. Again, thank you all for the input and to anyone else that may have some place interesting to share that would be fun to see.
Wife and I are planning a trip from the San Antonio area through New Mexico and Arizona. Our main stopping points are Phoenix, Sedona and Albuquerque with 4 nights n each of these areas before moving on. We plan on hitting the Grand Canyon and visiting friends in Phoenix but pretty much open to where the wind blows us in between.
Anyone have suggestions on must see stuff in any of these areas? We just kind of plan on leaving our base camp each day and driving a different direction to see what we find with no real plans but exploring and stopping where the mood strikes.
