John is right! When we rented our first RV, we went to pick it up at 8AM and didn't get on the road until 2PM! There was so much prep and packing to do, even though the RV was fully stocked up and we were already packed indoors. We got 2 hours from home when we stopped overnight! Hahahaha! John's itinerary seems perfect, too.
We stayed 4 nights in Jasper at Whistlers Campground in June 2006. It was great. Pretty basic, but full hook-ups. Reserve now if you haven't already. June still isn't as busy as the summer, but is still pretty full. We had cold temps in mid-June (and snow at the top of Whistlers when we took the tram up). So, the good news is you probably won't have any bugs there or in Banff, but you may in Edmonton or Calgary (we got eaten alive in Edmonton). So, bring the bug spray!
Enjoy!
