Anyone know where it is located on a 98 Winnebago Adventurer? The manual says behind a lower panel in the galley, living area or under the bed. The panel in the galley onle has the 110VAC breakers. Nothing in the living area or under the bed.

On my 97 Adventurer it is under the kitchen sink, on floor, against outside wall.

Some converters are part of the circuit breaker and DC fuse panel assembly, perhaps that is yours. My current camper is that way. My old motorhome was a seperate unit mounted under the sink behind a panel. I found it by tracing the large positive wire from the battery through a hole in the floor.

My wife asked, "Is it under the sink?" I replied, "No way. You would not put electrical stuff under the sink close to water if you had a leak." Guess I was wrong. Looks like it is under there under a plastic cap." I need to replace it and my batteries. I was planning on stopping at Camping World on our way out tonight and replacing it all. I assume there is not much to the converter, just hook up new wires right?

Pretty much, as long as the replacement converter is rated for the same (or less) current than the old converter. If you go up in current rating, you may need to replace the wires between the battery and converter, as well as any fuse or breaker in that path. The only other consideration would be mounting the converter, it may not have the same bolt pattern as the old one.
