Friend is a firefighter. Below is a video of a fire at Cherry Hill Campground (near Washington D.C.) that happened yesterday morning. After camping for 4 days, driver decided to warm up the engine for an extended period, alas the engine caught fire, luckily everyone escaped safely.

We'll have to take your word that it was a Tiffin A-Bus, can't tell much from the state of the MH in the vid.

Do you happen to know if it was a newer or older model?

The article identified the RV as a 1990 Allegro and put the loss at $20K. That model Allegro is a gas engine RV.

So we have a 19 year old coach with (probably) 19 year old gas lines. It is a sad sight to see and I'm sure it spooked those involved.

Best to check the smoke alarms in the RV. Nice to know no-one got hurt.

I like the way the firefighters stood by until it burned to the ground before applying any water. Guess less clean up that way.

And what exactly did you see remaining worth breaking a sweat over?
The nozzleman did everything correct, cool the exposures and put water on the pile of rubble.

LOL
If you notice the fire fighter just arrived and didnt even have water yet in the hose line.
He did what every professional firefighter is trained to do, protect the exposures. What was in front of him was rubble
