If you are a member of AARP not a "youngster, try them for insurance. They are very good to us.

Geico. Seems better than most we've looked at. Anyone else with Geico and have an opinion on them?

We have had Geico for so long that I can't remember what year I first went with them. It was at least in mid sixties. That was before they went to insuring all the public. They started out only insuring Government Employees and being in the Military, I went for it.

Ditto. I did some minor damage last year in a CG. My annual Progressive premium only went up $18.

Sounds like a good lesson to be learned here. DONT file insurance claims. I have decided if I break it I will fix it, out of pocket as long as no one else or their vehicle is involved. Everybody I have saw file a claim paid back double to the insurance company.

Have no idea of your age, but if you are old enough try AARP for insurance. We have AARP Hartford and cant beat the price.

Don, I too had GMAC for about 9 years and each year they would increase the rate and when I asked about it they would say TN had a rate increase, yea right. This year I called Hartford with AARP and they were able to increase some of my coverage. They ask how much I would want to sell the DP for and I told them and now it's insured for that amount if it's totaled. I save a little over $800 per year with Hartford. You might give them a call.
