I owned a 1959 NSU Prinz. 2 cylinders. 20 horsepower. 48 mph top speed. Bet nobody else had one.

Reminds me of the Renault from about that era, had tricycle wheels as we called them, single bolt in the middle of a solid wheel.

We had a '56 Chevy when we got married. After it burned up (literally) we got a '64 Austin Healy 3000 (convertible). Not a practical car for a young couple with a baby. Way before child carseat rules. We just stacked blankets behind our bucket seats, and that's where she rode. Probably go to jail for that these days!

Nice car Jerry...........

Doug in 1966 or 67 I had a 1959 Fiat 4 speed on the column with suicide front doors and it had 2 really cool things about it. 1 is it floated I would get going about 30 and hit this flooded road in San Jose and the darn thing floated all the way across the puddle. 2 is you could turn the key off and turn it back on and it would BACK fire REALLY Loud. In fact I really pissed off a UPS driver once.... You can ask Steve Kline he was with me....... LoL

I am so glad we went to the Corvette Museum and I was able to post the pictures... It sure gave us lots of dialog and brought back some great memories..

As long as we are talking cars. Not mine, boyfriends.
1957 Desoto, Chrysler 440 hemi with 4bbl holly carb and a push button auto on the left side of the steering wheel on the dash. Pasted everything but the gas station. Could burn rubber for a city block.
Now if that doesn't date me.

My first car was a 1958 Chevy, couldn't get out of its own way!!

We are at South Carlsbad SB. Nice campground, overlooking the ocean from a bluff. No hookups but that's okay. Large campsites. Will post pics when I get home.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
