As much as I would like to disagree with you it does seem that the Jayfeathers from 2005-2007 have a abnormal amount of QC issues with the roof structure.

Have you had it evaluated yet CRF to see if Jayco can assist you (even partially, such as material costs?) to fi your issues?

The dealer found no leaks in the roof. YEAH! The dealer says it is the glue Jayco used on the ceiling wallpaper when installing it and all the interior ceiling tiles will have to be replaced. The tiles are not bad cost wise, but to replace the ceiling in the whole trailer is another issue. Poor workmanship and faulty glue. HELP! Can you hear me now JAYCO???

I'd make sure I actually saw inside of the roof where the a/c is. Our dealer told us our roof had no leaks in June- just bad glue on the wall board. In August Jayco insisted on our dealer getting in there and sending pictures after continued complaints from us about the blisters on the ceiling getting bigger. The leak turned out to be quite extensive, even though the dealer said it happened between June (when they first saw it) and August (when Jayco insisted on the inspection). Lots of black and rot- Jayco told us the roof should be replaced- it had obviously been leaking for a while.

Make sure you actually see inside the roof with your own two eyes just to be sure!!!

We are starting a 12 hour drive tomorrow to Middlebury, Indiana to drop our unit at Jayco for a roof replacement. We'll be going back in early spring to pick it up.

You are doing the right thing by letting Jayco do the work. Good luck!

Since the roof on my 23B is made up of laminated parts, Jayco wants to put a totally new roof on my trailer. Thanks Jayco! Great customer service! I just want to get back camping!
