We generally don't go far from home on our trips. There are tons of things to see and do in Indiana. Here are some pics of the area around
Rockville In. We were down there last weekend for their covered bridge festival.
My mother and sister came up from Southern Illinois for the weekend. The camper only sleeps 3 but, I built a temporary bunk bed over the dinette to make enough beds. My mom is 77 years old and I have not seen her have so much fun.

This is the bridge and mill at Bridgeton. The bridge was burned by an arsonist and rebuilt by the town in 08

Do they look like thay are having fun?

The narrows on Brushy Creek near Turkey Run State Park.

Bridge over Brushy Creek.

There was a mill here at one time. the steps are hand made.

Wish I had taken a better pic here. There is a 10 ft. deep amd about10 ft. wide hole here that hte prob used as mill race.

Pull off area down stream of the bridge.

Me and the truck in front of narrows bridge.

Like I said before, there are tons of places to visit close to home. Everyone should get out and find them close to their homes..
I have more from this trip if anyonecares to see them.

Great pics of some classic covered bridges.
Fuel it up and come on out to Oregon and chase some more covered bridges...there are a lot of them.

Thanks for the photos.
Not many covered bridges out west here.
The old water wheel mills must have been something to see in their day (where the steps were cut into the rock).
Take care.

Oregon and all points in between. I could be like sleepy and his missus if it were'nt for the dirty word...WORK. Maybe in a few years.
A few more pics.

Wonder if this is the right road out of here..

Indiana has some great scenery.

Amazing that these bridges have been here as long as they have and are still functional.

These cattle had escaped their pasture and were having a great time in this bean field. We stopped at the house and you should have seen the owner run when I told him.

My wife takes photos of old out buildings and old outhouses.

Well, I had to go!! Sorry

The weather was not very good all weekend but, we still had a good time.

Posting photos of trips is a lot of work. And ya'll have prob seen enough. Thanks for taking a look.

Yes, but we definitely appreciate the effort - I love your report and the beautiful country around your place. Who says you have to cross the country to have a good time? Thanks!
