In Canada we call it Rememberance Day. So I would like to say thank you to all vets in Canada and the USA. Because of you we live in a free country and we can enjoy pets unlike in other countries where animals are not regarded as creatures of God and the people are not lucky enough to be loved by one.

So Pops, why would you post it under RV Pet Stop, if it's not pet related? It's offensive to be confused - is is my dog's Vet - or - Military Veteran. Don't clump them with animals. Post it in General RV if you don't know where to post it.

Yes, I took offense at where it's posted. I'm Mrs Crazy Ray and my husband retired from the Army and I am very proud of him and all of those who have served and who are serving their country. Some Gave All.

Uhhhhhh . . . . . isn't that a bit of an over reaction, Crazy Ray? After all, Pop's post is entitled, "Veteran's Day", so I don't see how you'd confuse it with an animal vet. In any case, there are veterans that happen to be dogs, and many of them "gave all" as well.

Maybe we pet owners aren't worthy of being thankful?

I for one will shed a few tears tomorrow in rememberance of those who gave their lives so that ours could be free.

There are many dogs in the military now, while some may argue, I consider them vets also.

I whole heartedly agree…

Many were left behind in Vietnam after the pull out. These "Military Service Dogs" (as well as all of them who are presently in Service) will always have a special place in my heart.

They (the Dogs in Service) don't know anything else, except to give us their all...and as DOTLDaddy stated many already have....
