After 10 years we've outgrown our Terry 31' tt. Now that the kids are teens, they each bring along a friend or two each time we go to the coast or lake to camp. That's great because we get to spend a lot of time together but it has become very crowded as you can imagine. I have decided that we need a fifth wheel with two full baths and bunks/queen in the back. I don't mean a half bath with a sink and toilet, but a second bath with a shower as well. I have searched the web but can't find anything. Can anyone recommend a brand and model? Most of our trips our relatively short (within a hundred miles) and I have a 2006 Dodge diesel 3/4 ton. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you have a really big budget, then http://horizonsrv.com/ will build you anything that you want into the RV. They specialize in full timer RV's that tend to be really heavy!

For something that can be safely pulled by a lightweight Dodge with a heavy engine, then consider these. Glendale RV.com

They do build a three bedroom two bath unit, but alas the rear bath is only a 1/2 bath. It does have 4 holding tanks! You might ask if they can make an exception.

Good Luck!

Fred.

We had the need for more room and went with a Cyclone toyhauler.
That gave us the two queen beds in the garage with a 1/2 bath.
Front bedroom area is standard. The living room dinette makes
a bed and another queen bed in a loft area. Works great but it
is big and HEAVY. People pull them with 3/4 ton but should be
a dually really.

Cardinal also makes units with 1 ans 1/2 bath. Ours works well for us. They now have a different model with the same feature

Teens and friends are old enough to go to the campground bathhouse by themselves. why fill up your grey water tanks to accommodate them? and in a year or two, your kids won't want to be going with you anyway and the trailer will be too large then.

Bumpy and Mrseven21 have valid points, think this over before making this investment.

If you camp where it is warm...outside shower. They make some really nice shower enclosures that just hang on the side of the trailer with suction cups,if you have the outside shower option. And if they get really dirty....power washer.

We carry little plastic totes for our 2 daughters ( 11 & 16 ) to take to the bath house. You will find that your kids will probably NOT have an issue using the bath house especially if they have friends. Also 2 full showers?? What kind of water pressure do you think you can get running 2 showers at the same time, let alone the hot water... The 1/2 bath option ( sink and stool) is a nice option.

Agree, its like putting in the pool and a few years later you just have the bill to maintain it.
