Honestly...the old saying "why go with a hot dog when you can eat steak" says it all! You can't compare a Newmar on any level to any Fleetwood. Period!
My posts shouldn't be taken for factual data. They are purely fictional, for entertainment purposes and should not be constituted as actually related to scientific, technical, engineering, legal, spiritual or practical advice. Amen.

There's no way in hell I would trade a Newmar for a Fleetwood.

Essex has the Spartan Chassis. Does the Newmar with the Freightliner have the Comfort Drive?

What about an American (Fleetwood) Revolution. Aren't they built on a Liberty (Spartan) chassis with a side radiator? I know from a friends Rev that the interior cabinets are well built.

I traded my two year old Newmar for a used Fleetwood seven years ago and no regrets at all.
But in reading your post, why are your looking at trading? Sounds like your very happy with what you have now?

The reason I'm deciding to trade up is that it makes financial sense right now with the low interest rates out there and my Ventanna is a PHENOMINAL coach, but there are a few bells and whistles I'd like that weren't available on the coach I have now. I bought it out of dealer stock and didn't really get to pick the options. Although, it has pretty much every box checked there are still some configuration options I'd like to change on my next coach.

If you considering the Dutch Star, I would strongly consider the Revolution. Quality of American Coach is very good.

Now you are moving up the food chain, solid wood cabinets, heated ceramic tile floors and all the bells and whisles. The Revolution LE has the Spartan chassis with a side radiator and it drives like a sports car and you also have the outstanding American Factory support. No comparison to a Newmar....
