'99 Windsor.... My gauges aren't accurate, just bought this and have already almost run it out of fuel when the gauge showed plenty. It has a full tank now and sometimes when you turn the key on it showed 1/4 tank down and sometimes it shows full or close to it.... The battery gauge shows 18v with the engine running bit only have 13.8 on my voltmeter....
Tranny temp worked about half way home and now doesn't work at all....
Any idea's?

Does it have the Aladdin System??? If it does you may have to recalibrate the system. Check your manual on the proper procedure or call Monaco Techs, they will help.

The Aladdin system is an intregal part of the Monaco system, if installed. It runs through your backup camera. With it, you can do things like calibrate your holding tanks, run trip meters, check fuel etc. If you don't know you have it, you don't because it's pretty obvious. That said, assuming your GROUNDS are solid, to calibrate your fuel gauge you need to access the fuel tank. On top of the tank you will see a small round gauge with wires coming out of it. You will need a small screwdriver and a mirror. In between the two wires is a small screw. Very small movement of this screw will adjust your fuel gauge. I would recommend you fill your tank then calibrate. Once full you can turn this screw until the gauge reads full, above full or just below full depending on your preferences.....I would suspect you may have a bad or loose ground though....Dennis

I would x2 checking ALL grounds to make sure they are connected. We had alot that were loose.
For S&G's check the voltage regulator plug. Ours is a '93 Monaco and the plug for the voltage regulator is very loose. Makes all kinds of things go haywire on the gauges. Once we realized it was loose we cleaned the conectors and zip tied it back in place and the gauges now work correctly. Very quick and easy to check and a cheap fix if it is that.

The Alladin system has NOTHING to do with the dash FUEL gauge. Monaco Fuel tanks use a drop in fuel sending unit that has calibration pots(screws). You fill the tank to full and then turn the calibration screw to just when it reaches the full mark. Now, Some also have the 1/4 (or 1/8 wherever you want it to send at) tank low fuel system also and it also has an adjustment screw on the sending unit to calibrate the 1/4 mark for the low fuel indicator. These sending units will have 2 of those screws instead of 1. From your age and description, you need a new fuel tank sending unit.
Your tranny gauge probably just has the wire corroded or off the sending unit. The sending unit is on the bottom of the tranny and if you know what it looks like, easy to spot. Now to the voltage. IF the dash system shows 18 volts but with a Handheld Volt meter you see 13.2 or what is supposed to be the correct voltage, then the voltmeter gauge is bad. BUT, explain what you mean by "battery Gauge" and I will assume you mean the DASH voltmeter. Where is this battery gauge? Doug

Open up the back lift gate, on the left hand side on a rail that is part of the frame of the MH. Ours is silver and is up and down which is why the plug is so loose and falling off. I will take a picture of it in a little while of where it is and send it to you if you.
