Going to the Gulf for the July 4th week.We are looking for a CG that has a pool,shade,and close to the beach ( would prefer to walk).
Topsail is full according to their web site (I have not called them yet). We stayed at Gulf State park last year and liked it but would like to try a different place this year.
None of the state parks mentioned have a pool except Topsail. I wouldn't let that stop me though. Grayton and Henderson are nice beach CG's. Henderson Bch would be my first choice but they do not have sewer hook ups. Grayton has one loop with FHU's.
Henderson does not have a pool, but it is a really nice cg, probably the nicest in the Destin area. So close to everything, and my favorite cg. Topsail is also nice, and does have a pool. Keep checking, they might have a cancellation. Camping on the Gulf has a pool, very pricey, and very tight. I would give up the pool, and keep checking on cancellations for Henderson, Topsail, or Grayton.

They were building a new cg with a pool on Oakaloosa Island just across from the Ramada Inn and SeaSpay condos last summer and someone on here posted a link but I have been unable to locate it. They were also building a new cg over in Navaree.
