I am having some leaking in the roof of my moho in my sig.Have done the eternabond tape but still have a small leak in the rear.After reading about liquid roof I went to order some and was told my roof needed a special primer and several other steps.Has any one else run into this problem.Thanks in advance for the help.

I didn't know they ever used Filon for roofs. Are you sure that's what it is?

I "assume" that the leaks are at seams, not thru the "filon".

I called Airstream and that is what they told me.It is a very thin Fiberglass.For some reason FRP sticks in my mind also,not sure why.

I would assume so also.Whenever you cut that many holes in a roof it spells trouble.I was hopeing the liquid roof would solve my problems.But that seems to be turning into a major job.Airstream dealer said 2 days at $110.00 an hour jeez!

My daughter had a roof leak in her 5ver same place as yours. And she bought some self leveling lap sealer from Camping World as mentioned by another previous poster and it was easy to work with and worked very well no more leaks!
