Thats an easy fix. Ill bet someone jacked the unit up at that point putting too much weight in a small area. If the rig is nose high when hitched...a good time to add tubing and level it out as well as strengthening the repair

it's a good reminder to everyone to check their spring hangers often. A few years ago we discovered ours broken during a trip by first noticing the tires had a different gap between them than the other side of the fifth wheel. Not broken when we headed out that morning but broken by afternoon coffee.
It was a busted spring hanger. Fortunately there was a welder who took sympathy on us that Saturday evening and fixed it up so we could finish our trip. After a two week trip, and on the last day, the spring snapped. It was likely damaged when the spring hanger broke. Fortunately DH is a bit of a fixer and we were in civilization by then, so we bought four new springs and replaced them all around.
Once home, DH beefed up ALL the spring hangers so it couldn't happen again.

I'm not sure if Spectrac does welding, but I had suspension work done there and was also impressed. Very knowledgable, reasonable prices. I'm considering having my brakes upgraded to electric/hydraulic, and would have them do the work.
For welding work, I've used Cliff's Welding on Main Street in Mesa, and was very pleased with what they did for me.

That will be a simple fix for a welding shop, looks like it bottomed out from hitting a wash out in the road somewhere, I could fix that myself, if I had time, ha ha,,,,,,

aye.... very easy fix. Looks like damage is isolated to just the bottom rail.

Morning All,
Thanks so much for the kinds words and assuring me this is no big deal. Coming from motorhomes, this kinda freaked me out, but as easy as all of you make it sound, I will be heading to a couple trailer shops this morning to see what they can do for me. Will update you on how bad the damage is.
Thanks again!

Exactly my thoughts; improperly jacked up putting the entire weight of the trailer's weight on that side at that point. Some people do not understand how the structural integrity can be compromised when they jack up a trailer in the wrong manner. I agree with the other posters; in does not appear to be a major repair. Wishing you the best.

A good welder can fix that with just a little effort. May be worth it to go ahead and reinforce the rest of them while you're at it.

Lip Sheet 0135 That's more for cracks in the webbing but looks like it could work.
