So we have narrowed our 5th wheel search to either a Jayco Pinnacle or a Cedar Creek 36RE.. Any feedback on the following models would be really appreciated. A few things that concern me about the Pinnacle is the Vacuum laminated sidewalls as you always run the risk of de-lamination where the cedar creek to me seems much better built. I have owned many Jayco's and have always had good luck with them... All the Jayco's I have owned had some de-lamintation just from minor leaks that I caught early - but overall they were excellent products. Cedar Creek from what I have seen, really seem to have stepped up and putting out some fantastic products. So bottom line - We like Jayco and have always been happy with there products, I don't know anybody that owns a Cedar Creek so reaching out to you guys. I am leaning towards the Cedar Creek route but scared to pull the trigger till I get some more feedback on there overall experiance.

Have owned our CC since 2005 and absolutely love it. It has been perfect except for the problems the dealer caused. It will get new tires in the next few weeks. Other than routine maintenance items and some personal upgrades we have not spent a dime on it. Still water tight. Of course the new roof does not hurt that LOL. I will say that it is heavy. With a 13,750 GVWR we generally go down the road at 13,500 and a pin weight right at 3000.
One word of caution, I would not accept any new trailer with Chinese tires under it. In fact with that trailer I would opt for 7K axles or the full Morride package, disc brakes and 17.5 inch tires and wheels some how.

Also don't even think about pulling it with anything less than a dually. That 2200 pound pin weight will blossom to way over 3000 when you are all done and ready to go.

We love our 2009 CC Silverback...and are members of the Cedar Creek RV Owners club....so we see alot of CC models...many repeat buyers...Ours still looks new, of course I wash & wax it alot. We have had almost no issues, most of those were taken care of during PDI and then by CC.

Agree with Donn, don't accept the china bombs. I replaced mine with only 3K miles - at my expense.

CC Service is TOP notch - they understand customer satisfaction.

Agree with above posts. My '08 Cedar Creek had Ironman China bomb tires. One other thing to consider, if it has a WFCO converter ask the dealer to replace it with a 9200 series Progressive Dynamics. These were the only issues I have had.

We have the Pinnacle in our sig and are on our first extended trip to SE states with it. Currently in the Smoky Mts before heading to the Florida panhandle. The Pinnacle so far has been flawless! It's our 3rd Jayco product and nothing beats the 2 year warranty tho' I've only had a warranty repair once on a TT.

You might want to go to Jayco Owners- 5th Wheels and ask around as there are other Pinnacle owners who can respond to your inquiry.

Good luck with your decision.

Another vote for CC. We're on our 3d. No problems with the first two, (other than operator stupidity) Looked at the RE but bought the CKTS and absolutely love it. Ours has the Explorer package (hitch receiver, Trump bed, level-up system, central vac, 7K axles and "G" rated tires, bigger fridge, all the bells and whistles momma wanted). Factory support is outstanding.
Then again, I may be biased as I belong to the Cedarcreekrvownersclub.com and there's not a better bunch of folks to gather/travel with.

We have a Pinnacle and love it, but I agree, you cannot go wrong with either product as both are great products.

Go with the one that gives you that "Warm and Fuzzy" feeling and has the features and floorplan that fit your needs and wants.

We like the Pinnacle. We have had four Jayco products and they were all good. Did own one Forrest River product during that time but went back to Jayco.
