Getting rid of the tv's, you've got to be kidding, I might as well just tell the wife I'm selling the house and buying a fleet of Porsches! ... I'd get the same response.

Hi All.

When I changed out our two OEM CRT TV's, and installed two LED's. I set the two OEM TV's out on the front of our Driveway, with a sign for "Free".

They both were gone within the hour. A youngish couple stopped and wanted them both for their kids, for using with Vidio Games.

You can't even Donate CRT TV's anyomre to places like Thrift Shops, as they will only accept LED TV's, and they won't even take regular Computers any longer either, only Laptops, at least in our area. Talk about getting Picky or what.

Worked out great in our case. Good Luck. Happy Travelss. Dan & Jill

I bought the converters for the change to HD and they are in the MH and still not connected to anything. We haven't missed the TV. As long as I have some kind of Wi-Fi connection I get all of the news I care about. I have looked at a couple of the new TVs but haven't jumped yet. If we run out of books then we will have to do something.

No I would never dump the TV's. We stay busy when we RV so they don't see a lot of use but I like watching news etc. We have even been known to rent a Redbox while on the road.

I yanked out the 19in crt and built a cabinet in its place. Hung a 32 in flat screen from a ceiling mount. We watch news in mornings and an occasional movie, but thats about it.

DUMP the old TV'S . I did the same thing with mine.

no permanent TV in MH. I do have the king-dome on the roof, plus i carry a satellite dish for Dish network. when we go camping i bring one of my receivers with me and i have a 20" LCD that works on 110 or 12 volt. when we set up i just put the tv in a good spot for viewing.
don't watch much but is nice to have for rainy days. i can even put the tv outside when the weather is good. i will do this to watch a race.

not a full timer so a permanent TV is not essential.

Don’t quite understand the various comments regarding full timers and TVs. I am a full timer and have no time for a TV. TV is a drug.

If my coach didn't have television I would get rid of the coach. That is how important a TV is to me.
