I am looking for some suggestions for good Campsites around Nashville and Memphis for 2 of us in a 36 ft Class A MH for 1 or 2 weeks. It would be great if it was fairly close to the big attractions but we don't mind driving or tag around either............thanks

Pricey but in the same price range as any of them in town.
I always stay at the KOA in town. Great long, level sites, trees for shade and a big concrete patio complete with table and chairs.

Howdy!
We've stayed at "Tom Sawyer RV Park" in West Memphis nice park right om the Mississippi river.
While in Nashville we stay at "Two Rivers Campground" it's close to Opryland and Mills Mall.

For Nashville I always pick Two Rivers campground, right next door to camping world and the KOA. Just stay on left side of campground there is a bus barn by the back right the folks there are great, between Nashville and Memphis I like Natchez Trace State Park at exit 116 (pin oak grmpground) and I go a lot to Loretta Lynns at exit 143, its about 13 miles off I-40 some spots on top are tight but bottom section is close to pool and stage, just check her web site to make sure what events are going at the time. When you get to Memphis a great place is Tom Sawyers, its right on the Mississippi and sometimes in it. The Agra Center campground is ok just a big field but still close to lots of stuff to do. Let me know if you need more info.
Have fun.

My preference when passing through Nashville is on the J Kerry Priest Reservoir. Anderson Road Rec Area has LOTS of great CAMPING sites right on the lake front. Only minutes from downtown Nashville.

With our TV and TT we have done overnights at KOA Nashville.
Very limited amount of sites that would accept your 36ft Class A.
For your RV, driving around that KOA would not be impossible but you would need to watch out for trees etc.
Frankly, this park looks and feels like a refugee camp anyway! LOL
ALL parks are expensive in that area, because of what is around and about to do and see.

Also recomend the COE campgrounds near nashville, we always stay at seven points what a great place but you will need to plan ahead local folks love fishing there. Seven points is close to the opry and the mall and a little longer drive to downtown but a nice place to stay
