Elkhart Campground is a great place, very friendly owners. If you want to be right in the Center of Amish Country go to Shipshewana North or South. We prefer North

We have stayed at Eby Pines twice. Near Shipshewana, RV Museum, RV salvage stores and more. Some spots in the 300's I think have nice Pine trees for shade.

We spent a week in Elkhart Campground. Good location for shopping etc. A nice lake with a public boat ramp for kayaking and fishing. About 30 minutes from Shipshwana Amish area. By the way the there is a large flea market open on Monday and Tuesday. We are currently in Potato Creek State Park about 28 miles from Elkhart. One of the nicest state parks we have ever visited. Wonderful big sites, 6 mile paved bike path through the forest, a lake with rental boats and kayaks, lots of hiking trails.
