Ok just picked up our new 5vr. Its a 2011 Jayco Eagle 29.5RKS. Its only got 1 towel bar in the bathroom, we want to add some more but can't find any blocking in the wall to attach to. What are some of the alternatives that you have come up with?

Wall mollies worked well for me. I added two towell bars 9 years ago, and they are still going great for me.

Over the door rack. With a few S hooks it stores other stuff too. The bottom may swing and bang unless you use some double sided tape etc.

Another vote for a door mounted rack. For our previous rv, I bought a over-the-door hanging one that worked really well. In our current rv, we have one mounted permanently to the inside of the bathroom door.

I'm curious too. I just need a hand towel bar, but I won't be putting any holes in the wall (due to a past mishap with a previous trailer). So I bought a towel bar with a big suction cup to stick to the side of the shower. Well, the shower glass is textured on the outside. No go. Need a Plan C.

If you use dry wall anchors like E-Z Ancor (the kind that screw into the wall and the holding screw goes into it) sometimes the wall is so thin the anchor wants to back out or go right thru. The first time you screw in the anchor try some sealant or glue on the threads and let it dry before installing the fixture.

I've used two different technics for hanging things in my trailer.
If I have an interior wall (one that is not fiberglass exterior wall on the outside) I use a stud finder to try and find the aluminum framing to sink self tapping screws into. I I can't find framing, I use small wall anchors and screws like you would in drywall.

If it needs to be mounted on an exterior wall, loctite contractors adhesive and very short screws to hold it in place until the adhesive sets has been successful.

I've saw one thread where someone mounted their toilet papper and towel bars on a piece of wood flooring with screws and then mounted the flooring on the wall with the contractors adhesive. They gave it positive reviews for a strong solution.
