I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on Craig's List without any problems. There have been a few scammers offering to buy under very unusual conditions, so just ignore them.

In fact, I bought my current tow bar three years ago from a guy who advertised it on Craig's List in Tacoma. How's that for coincidence?

I bought mine last fall on Craigslist no problems. I have sold a car and a truck on craiglist with no problems. Any responses that I didn't like I just deleted. Sold my car within 4 hours of listing it. I bought other parts of my tow bar on ebay. Problem there is the shipping can be alot because of the weight and size. Good luck.

Craigslist, and don't put your phone number or email address in your ad.

X2

You can have them put THEIR phone number in the response to the ad and ignore all others.
