We have a wide window across the rear of the 5er. It has those curtains that are like cloth strips and operate by pulling a rod to open or to close. They are getting a bit dirty. What do you folks use to clean them? Just a damp sponge or cloth, or some type of cleaner? Thanks

we have used carpet foam or upholstery cleaner with Oxy Clean. Test small area to make sure it doesn't leave water spots.

If they need a heavier cleaning, we remove the blinds and soak them in the bathtub using an Oxi-clean solution. Just make sure you get them rinsed thoroughly...

If you use the bathtub method of cleaning put some vinegar in the rinse water to get the soap out.
