Now that massive EGR is dead and the future is in high pressure injection and low to moderate EGR, how long before these obsolete engines that relied on massive EGR are redesigned?

Why worry if the EPA and WHO have their way there will be no diesel production.

Well guess what people. The urea and afterburner has hit the agriculture equipment now. Wonder how much equipment will burn up due the the hi temps. in the exhaust system when dirt, chaff build up. Just wondering. When was the last time you saw a gasoline power tractor or combine.

I am hearing rumors that gas engines will soon start making a come back in some lower hp construction equipment applications. The EPA agenda against Diesel fuel marches on.

Diesels got a free ride because they were a small percentage of the fleet.

But with cars being so clean, diesel emissions became the next big nail to be hammered in.

Then, our friends in the diesel community that non-compliance and "coaling" is fun.

That brought the regulators down on us!

Anti idling laws.

And soon.. much more strict testing of emissions.
