15 miles east of hope on Hwy #3 is an excellent RV park called Sunshine Valley. It is a great park, pull throughs and any size rigs. This would be a little higher price that the RV parks in Hope. There are two nice parks just west of hope before the Huskey. Both are OK and will serve you well for a 1 night stay.

We stayed overnight at the Wild Rose RV Park in Hope a few years ago and it was very nice. When we checked in we asked about driving to a place to eat and were told it would be best to park in our site and walk to the nearby truck stop for a good meal. The food was terrible. As we walked back to the park we passed the couple who had checked us in and mentioned our dining experience. They seemed surprised and said they had never eaten there. We just shook our heads rather than asking why they had recommended it.

There is a provincial park at Othelo, Coquihalla Canyon, but it is day use only (a scenic trail along a railroad bed through tunnels and over bridges.

I believe there's a campground on the west side of town, by the river. It may be owned by a reserve (Telte Yet Campsite). I've only driven past it, after lunch and gas in town. There's also a visitor's center in Hope, which would be source of last minute information.

We stayed at Othello campground and did the near-by Tunnels --don't miss the Tunnels if you haven't walked along there.

The campground was nice enough but better for smaller rigs--we just fit. You can take a lawn chair (or sit on a big rock) across the road and sit by the river--very relaxing.

ISTR the campground had a little fish pond where kids could catch a fish.

I have parked right in the Info BC parking lot for a night. Sometimes I even get their wifi signal.

Not sure what you are looking for but #5 has several pull outs for brake checks 20 km East of Hope. That would be free.

Sunshine Valley RV is on #3 about 10 km East of Hope. It is nice but pricey.

There are a few other campgounds near hope but I've never stayed there. Othello Tunnels are worth going through if you have the time. The campground in the area is called the Othello campground.
