Son getting married 8/12. Not a sand guy either, besides I can't bear to see Pismo the way it is now. I lived in Grover CITY in the early 80's and rode/drove all over the dunes clear down to Devil's Slide and out around Oso Flaco lake. That's when Pismo was fun. Now it's like a sand bowl. You can't even ride around in the little canyons where the ice plant parts to make trails; that was a blast playing follow the leader or hide and seek on our three wheelers.

I did see on the news though really high tide for the the fireworks show at the pier. Sounds like no beach will be open.
