7 years is excellent. It was probably dried out. If I got 7 years from a set of tires I would not hesitate to use them again.

According to the link they are a better Chinese tire. I think the underlying issue for the OP is there is not a lot of weight being carried. I ran Greenball products (Transmasters) on my lighter trailer with no issues what so ever.
Your probably good with just about anyyhing.

I consider Duro's one of the worst Chinese junk tires available and will never allow another one on a trailer of mine! Was that strong enough? LOL

What size of tire are you talking about? If it's the 12" tire, you do NOT have a lot of choice, and in this case, Duro is the best brand.
Due to age, I had to replace the original Duros on my first PUP. I put Kenda and another brand tire or two on afterwards because I couldn't find any Duro tires. They all blew within 1 to 2 years.
Sad to say, but if you're in a 4.80-12 or 5.30-12, you don't have good options. If you're in a larger rim size, then Maxxis or other choices can be better.
Good luck.

I've got 4 years and 10,000+ miles on my Carlisle Radial Trail tires. 185/80/R13 load range C kept at maximum pressure. My trailer, fully loaded, is about 2300#-2400# and is just under the tire max load (my limiting factor). I usually drive between 60-70 with it and keep it in the garage when not in use. I treat the tires once a year with Black Magic conditioner. So far, I've not had any problems and tread wear is excellent. No sidewall damage or decay.
I'm happy with the Carlisles.

I replaced the original tires on my PUP with Duros 4 years ago. I've had no problems and actually have been quite pleased with them. ST185/80D13 is the size I use. You need to pay very close attention to the load carrying ability of the tires and the weight of the PUP. Maxxis tires can't carry enough load (only #1480) in the size that I need. I need the #1660 that the Duros offer.
