We currently have a 2013 29 foot keystone Laredo, BH on hold.(291 model) We have until Monday to make our decision. Just curious on comments/good or bad. She has the exterior kitchen which we want and the bunks for the kids. Looks real nice and has all the bells and whistles that they offer. Thanks for your input.

How many kids? Once the bunks are filled with kids, is there adequate cabinets, lockers, drawers for kids clothing and gear? We made the mistake oceans bought a quad bunk for two kids and ended up using the other two bunks for clothing, toys, etc because there was not adequate storage space in the bunk area. I can't imagine if we had 3 or 4 kids crammed in there. Just food for thought.
We ended up trading within 2 years for a fiver with bunk room model with bunk room slide and plenty of storage.

I hate to tell you the bad news. That trailer will be too heavy for your expedition.. You can only go up to 6500 lbs loaded before the payload and hitch capacity runs out.

That 291TG is 6500 lbs dry. You'll be close to 7500 lbs loaded. Not good..

Forest river surveyor make a unit very similar to the 291 and weighs a lot less. Check it out.

2 kids plenty of storage..

The expy has the factory tow package (9200 tow rating) This isn't my first rodeo. At 6500lbs, it is plenty capable.

Don't forget to make sure the LOADED tongue weight does not exceed the GVWR of your Expy including weight for passengers, gear, etc. I made that mistake once and regretted it.

Thanks.. I am good on all the towing specs, done all that home work..

Main question was about the trailer itself.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Laredo brand. Nice features and build qualiy. Decent reputation on this board. A lot depends on the Servicing dealer.

We have been very happy with our 303tg model. I would buy Laredo again. We looked at the 291 too.

Sweet ride!! We liked your model as well but I don't have the beast you have to pull with! Good to know you like it, we have to decide in the next couple of days.

Have a friend with a Laredo and he likes it a lot. He has had no real issues.
