Yes I have found my posts on RV.net show up on a google search. It used to be that Google only spent the might searching for new pages, but I guess that now google does it 24/7 and 366 if possible!

I've seen RV.NET posts cached on Google Search within an hour of the original post. Try this shortcut to the photos http://goo.gl/6VlMV.

Yup, me too!
I have googled stuff and found my own posts on RV.Net. Along with references I have posted to the same subject.

Nothing new since it was Google searches for RV's and problems with certain models that first brought me to Open Roads posts before I joined RV.Net.
The new search engine is supposed to quickly show items you are looking for by the fewest keystrokes. That means the items entered most recently dealing with the entry will show quickly.
In order to do that they save a lot of data. Anything posted on any forum is "public knowledge" and can be saved so you may not be able to delete the data.

I love the technology for so many things...but when I am online researching something like kitchen chairs and two minutes later those same chairs show up on the ads on my rv blog!

If you search your real name on zabbasearch you'll find your address and age. That's scary if someone is looking for you!

That's nothing, ya'll. Google maps has an image of me walking my dog at OP Schnable park in San Antonio, AND there is an image of me crossing kids in front of Carson Elementary School where I work. They have a vehicle that drives around taking the "street views". If I look through my neighborhood, I see neighbors mowing their lawns, carrying in groceries, playing in front of the house. It is downright spooky. I teach a Google Earth lesson to second graders every year and they are always excited when we look at their houses and they see someone they know in the photo. Me? I'm creeped out.

oh i'm not worried or even sorry
i know it's public
it was the speed that my images made it into the search , less than 8 hours
and the fact that my roof top and bfl ugly graphs showed up
they have nothing to do with my wfco but all of those images are from rvnet posts
so google included 'site images' from posts made by me or from threads i posted in
