I was traveling down the road and noticed the molding around the door on my you hauler was flapping in the wind. What is the secret to keeping that molding from coming out of it's channel?

I just spaced out a few small screws with caulk. Not beautiful, but either am I, and I get by just fine.

Some have the ends of the vinyl cover strip folded under (doubled) about an inch, screwed down, and Dicored over at each end of the channel. If the channel gets bashed in where the strip tucks in so it won't tuck in, you have to pry it open just enough so it will.

You can buy lengths of that channel at RV shops (various styles called - ISTR -? "bead"?) if it is too damaged.

Yep, screw the ends down. If it has shrunk with age and heat, replace it. The new molding will be so tight it won't go anywhere.
