The forum's spell checker has not worked for years. If you're using IE, then I'd recommend the free Speckie. Other major browsers have spell check built-in.

Hasn't worked for a very long time but no one seems to care.
I just hover over the offending work with the cursor and right click. Then MY computer gives me spelling suggestions.

I wasn't aware that it had worked in the last two or three years.

Firefox has a spell check.

It appears like you've been a member long enough to know that the majority of the members are of superior intelligence, do not make spelling mistakes and the rest of us wouldn't know a mis-spelled word if we saw it. So, no need for RV spell check.

The first trouble ticket for spell check not working was posted in March, 2008. Realizing that it would never be fixed, I've asked fro the Spell Check icon to be removed from the Editor Assistance toolbar. But that request was made years ago, also.
