What would be a good overnight campground near the Sevierville exit on I40? I would like to be closer to I40 than Sevierville. I can be before or after the exit 10 to 20 miles. Thanks for any advice.
We always stay at "River Plantation" but you'll need a reservation; especially in the fall. It's not the closest to I-40; just our favorite. Ask for a river site 428 - 436.
Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!

River Plantation is a nice park, but a PIA if you happen to want to turn south out of their driveway. Closer to I-40 and just as nice is Riverside. Most sites are pull-throughs and the people that work there are super nice.
For overnight stops, we use Riverside RV Park and Resort. It's a nice campground with plenty of room to walk the dogs and we know we will always get a pull-thru site.

Also a pain if you like to sleep in - the gravel quarry across the river woke us every day.
