Hi All!
I am looking for a few recommendations for places to go and things to see/do in Idaho. We live in the Boise area and would like to find RV Parks with a 1 tank radius of our home. We know we can easily make Mccall Id on one tank. This give us about a 150 mile radius.
Thanks for any/all suggestions!!

One of our favorite places is Coeur D'Alene. We like the Blackwell Island RV park, and so do our dogs. There is a beach on the river and part of it is reserved for dogs! The town has interesting stores, a wonderful farmer's market, and great eating/drinking places. Of course the Lake is beautiful, and the surrounding area is like a picture post card.

At 190 miles from Boise Arco has Craters of the Moon and a small hidden gem of a campground Mountain View RV Park. In season you get a great free breakfast in their restaurant and we had a great dinner in that same restaurant. Full hookups and great people who can really cook a meal.

Not exactly in Idaho but you might check out Farewell Bend State Park which is between Baker City, Oregon and Ontario, Oregon.

Or,
Three Island Crossing at Glenns Ferry, ID.

Both are great state parks with water and electric hook ups, with some hiking, biking, fishing and relaxing. And both have or are near Oregon Trail Interpretive Centers that are definitely worth visiting.

Another vote for Stanley and the Sawtooths. Not only are they SO very picturesque you get to drive through the Payette valley to get there and it's equally spectacular and one of our favorite places to camp. Payette River and Salmon River camping is great.

OP - you have a lot of fires right now in ID, unfortunately, so you might want to wait a little longer. We were planning to head for Stanley but there's a huge fire about 15 miles from it because we would be taking Hwy 21 and that was even closed a couple days ago. We're keeping a close watch. You have a lot of possibilities along the Oregon border.

Thanks for all the ideas and please keep them coming! We are originally from Spokane Wa and are very familiar with CDA. It is quite a bit out of our 1 tank radius!! Stanly is on my list of places to go. We pass by Farewell Bend every time we travel north to visit our family. Never thought of stopping to see what is there! Yes the fires are horrible right now, its actually hard to breath outside, we wont be traveling anywhere for the rest of this month.

There's also a great restaurant in town called Pickles. DW found a farmer's market and stocked up on fresh fruit while we were there.

Craters of the Moon is very unique. If you have any interest in geology this is a good place to visit.
