The previous owner of my new (to me) Pioneer Trailer broke the locking clip for the emergency exit window retract lever. Any ideas as the where I can get a new hook/clip? The hook/clip for the retract arm on the right side of the photo is what is broken.
I need parts for one like that too and only found them in a complete assembly and very pricey .. I found a manufacturer name on the lever itself I think..
Thanks for the thoughts there troll...and for the amazingly quick response!
After coming home with my trailer for the first time I noticed a mini-c clamp holding this retract arm in place . While my right brain admires his ingenuity, my left brain tells me it's probably not the best solution for emergency egress
I guess maybe I'm hoping that one of the old-timers on here has one of these hook/clips sitting around from a retrofit or part-out or such.
My parts quest is resolved. Huge thanks to Bob at Erickson's RV in Idaho! His effort produced a clean used part that kept me from spending 50.00 for the whole setup. Good job, Bob!
Kinro is owned by Lippert. With a little internet tracking I was able to get a couple extrusions for my egress window that got bent when it came open and flopped up and down awhile while going down the road. They were very easy to deal with. The parts are available if you want to do a little research. Sorry I don't have the address anymore...
