RE: Searching for Satellite Input Problem

If you are using the same settings as in your house, make sure your coach is level ,if it is off, back end lower or front end lower then you need to adjust the settings up a little or down a little

RE: Decent place to fuel and sleep between Blaine and Portland

Blaine to Portland is only about a 6 hour drive, Junction City about 100 miles more, an easy one day drive if you started from the border. We leave Vancouver mid morning and stop for the night in Medford by 8 pm. There is a Campingworld in Burlington WA. 45 mile from Blaine that has plugins for 10-12 overnighters at the rear of the shop. Then there is a Casino in MARYVILLE exit I-5 199 Hope this will help. FUEL is cheaper in Bellingham than in Blaine.

RE: Ford V-10 mileage

That about normal for the V10, which could be less in mountains or into high winds As for the Banks, you will have to work out the cost of the system against how many miles you will be driving over the next few years to see if it would be cost effective or not

RE: Hub Cap removal

On my Bounder, the hub caps frount and rear, have what look like 6 stainless steel lug nuts only 2 of them hold the hub cap in place, check on the side of each for a small groove ,these are the ones to be loosened with a lug nut wrench, they are not caps but solid stainless steel nuts, once removed the hub cap will lift off

RE: Valve Extensions

Not the best idea, but, I back off the inner extenders about 1/2 a turn while on the road, then retighten them to check/add air, that way there is no chance of an air leak

RE: Tank Oders Inside

It is best to leave the grey water open, and let the water run right in to the park drain , close the black water and drain only when full we also had a problem like yours,in our last coach and found out that a screw went through the vent pipe, when they hung the mirror, after fixing the hole the smell was gone

RE: Fresh Water Tank Drains Slowly

Sound like a kink in the breather tube, that lets air into the tank as the water drains out, you should see it at the same place where you fill, just follow it back down to the tank

RE: Cleaning fresh water tanks

my post from a few days a go Hi all Today I got round to replacing the old breather hose to the fresh water tank,on my 99 Bounder, there was a kink, making it slow to fill, FYI it fills at the back of the unit, when I removed the old hose, you could see, what must have been the {vacuum effect} of being at the rear of the coach, it was full of dirt right down the length of the hose, and must have been getting into my fresh water supply, I have now put a seal around the lockable door, non there befor Now the BIG question is ,how many other out there are having the same thing happen and dont know it. I must add I/we only use the water in the holding tank in the potty room and shower the rest we buy filtered
