RE: Merry Christmas to the K9 family

So Bill . . . . . . I'm kinda curious . . . . . . just how long did those antlers stay on Jazz's head after you let go of her? :@:B

RE: Front hitch to park trailer in tight spot???

The front hitch is way easier to control tight turns into awkward spots because you are using the front end of the TV to steer rather than the back. Therefore directional corrections are easy and you are looking right out the windshield at your trailer.Well, ya know that's exactly what I presumed would be the case, but I wanted to actually hear somebody with first hand experience say it.

You guys with the front hitchs . . . . does it allow you to manuever easier, quicker and more precisely than from the rear hitch??? :@

RE: Front hitch to park trailer in tight spot???

....The practice will also enable you to impress your neighbors in the campground :)He he he. :B The difference being that, in this situation, I'd be impressing the neighbors where I'm living in my stick house.
This wouldn't really be much of a problem, except my parking navigator still thinks I can turn the trailer on a dime, kinda like her Subaru.:S:B

Front hitch to park trailer in tight spot???

We are moving soon, and the house we are moving to has a concrete extension of the driveway along side the garage. It angles off the main driveway about 15' from the garage. My trailer is 30' long, and I know it's gonna be a pretty tight to back into without giving myself a lawn job. :p
Long story short, I'm wondering if a front hitch on my truck would make it any easier to park the trailer into a tight spot? If money was no object, I'd probably get one of those powered dollies, but I'm not wanting to spend $$$ on one if I can help it.

RE: Loppy's Melanoma - Acupuncture update 12/16

To put a much loved pet's welfare first and foremost, above our own, can be very hard. We want our dear pets to remain with us, healthy and happy, for as long as possible. Most of us would go to great lengths to have that be, but it is our duty to our pets to make sure they do not suffer for our benefit.
In spite of Loppy's disease, he is a very lucky dog. He is loved and cared for by two people who will do what is right for him, not themselves.

Random thoughts

This is from one of my brothers. I get a joke from him every day in my email. It's pretty much our only form of communication. :R:B
Anyway, this particular one struck me as kinda funny, and actually kinda true in several instances. :B
Random Thoughts
1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.
5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
6. Was learning cursive really necessary?
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.
10. Bad decisions make good stories.
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything else productive for the rest of the day.
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection.. .again.
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this -- ever.
15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail.. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?
16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.
18. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Bud Lites than with Kay.

RE: Need some quick alternatives

It sounds like your friends have their minds made up already, so pleading with them not to have it done is most likely a waste of time.
I'm no expert, but I imagine the "laser removal" is a lot less traumatic than the old fashioned way. Is that not true, Dr. Doug???
In any case, I think cats and dogs are much more adaptable than us people. The cat will not moan and groan about how it's life has been ruined, etc., like we would. Certainly the cat will have to be strictly an indoor kitty after the procedure, I think we all know that.
I guess if the choice is claw removal or being taken to a shelter, I think the cat would choose the former.

RE: Loppy's Melanoma - Acupuncture update 12/16

Don't beat yourself up about this....I totally agree. Of all people, not you, Cat.
Perhaps this situation can serve as a cautionary tale for all of us. I have never made it a point to regularly open up our dog's mouths and look for anything unusual, unless it was obvious they were having some difficulty.
I will now, even if there are no outward signs of anything going on.
