RE: Pellet Grill?

I don't have that brand of pellet grill, but I do have another brand. I have a Green Mountain Grill. Pellet grills are not cheap, nor are most of them small enough to be portable. As far as being a good grill, I love mine. It can be used for low and slow or regular grilling like a gas grill... with real wood flavor. Pellets aren't cheap either, but not much more expensive than charcoal. I buy pellets by the pallet, so it saves there too.

RE: Slow Cooker Recipes

Pot Roast is always good. Get a 3 to 4 lb chuck roast or 7 bone roast. Cut up some carrots into 3-4" lengths. Lay the carrots across the bottom of the crock pot. Lay the roast on top of the carrots. (if you can brown the outside of the roast first, all the better). Sprinkle a pkg of onion soup mix over the roast. Quarter some small potatoes. Rough chop some onions. Toss in the pot. Add some water or beef stock. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Make gravy out of the drippins when you're done. Shred the beef. Serve over rice. Pour on the gravy. Pretty easy to add whatever you like to this.

RE: Jalapeno Cooker Recipes

brown up some Jimmy Dean sausage and mix it with cream cheese. Stuff the peppers, then drape a 2" piece of bacon over the top and secure with a toothpick. Bake until the peppers are soft. I use Jimmy Dean because it has a finer texture than some other sausage. I use the same stuffing for mushroom caps. You can also mix almost any kind of meat with the cream cheese... pulled pork, chopped up little smokies, etc. Also mix in some shredded cheddar cheese in the stuffing. Or some BBQ Rub. No rules. Experiment. You'll find something you like.

RE: Nexus reviews

I've had my 31P for just about a year. Couldn't be happier with it. I have a couple of minor warranty issues that they're going to take care of the first week of June. Nexus doesn't have dealers, but they have a network of authorized repair centers. I prefer to deal directly with them at the factory, but I'm not that far from them. Go visit their factory and see how they're made. You'll walk away impressed.

RE: My CampingWorld Experience So Far....

I continue to be amazed that nnyone would purchase a camper at CW. You really must be amazed. 40,000 RV's sold by camping world last year.:E Yeah, and McDonalds sells 1 Billion hamburgers a year. WalMart is the biggest retailer in the US. What does quantity have to do with anything?

RE: TST Tire Pressure Monitor

I bought the tst system about a year ago. Recently I upgraded my sensors to the new "pass thru" sensors. They offered to give me a discount for trading in my original sensors. I had an issue making the new ones work (my fault) so on a recent trip to FL I took a small detour near Atlanta and Mike at TST calibrated everything for me and showed me what I did wrong. Worked great with the older sensors, works great with the new sensors. You won't be disappointed.

Tire Pressure Monitor System

About a year ago I purchased a tpms from Truck System Technology for my new Nexus Class C. The manufacturer installed it for me. I've been pretty happy with the system. Recently they upgraded their sensors from a "cap" style to a "pass thru" style. No longer do you need to remove the sensor to inflate the tires. I purchased the new sensors and they were gracious enough to offer me a rebate if I returned the old sensors. Pretty good deal. I ordered them, but had a problem getting them working right. As luck would have it, a recent trip took me very close to their facility in Cumming,GA. I stopped by there and Mike helped me calibrate everything. Great product, great customer service. Highly recommended.

Another Great Trip

Just returned from another week at the Low Key Hideaway in Cedar Key, FL. This is one of the best RV spots I've found. No kids allowed. 4 RV spaces. Right on the Gulf of Mexico. Tiki Bar on site. There are 5 motel rooms for anyone interested. The owners are former full time RVers. This place is unique and awesome. If this is your cup of tea, be sure to reserve a spot in advance. I have reserved a year ahead. Got a week in November and again in April.

Dumb Question - Water Heater

I have two switches for my water heater. One is located on the main control panel with the lights, tank capacity indicators, etc. The other is a toggle switch that lights up when I flip it. Which one is for propane and which one is for electric? Is there a standard or does this vary from manufacturer to manufacturer?
