1994 Starcraft Comet 817 information
I'm looking for any information actaully specific to my camper. I need to check some things and can only find general manuals. Such as propane routing, Electrical diagrams, mechanical information, maintenance info. any help is appreciated.! :)

We'll taking our PUP to our first big trip this weekend. heading to Northern MI for 3 days for my SIL's family reunion / River Float. Should be fun:) First time pulling it more than 15 minutes :) 8 Hour trip.

Check out Sportsmansguide.com if no luck lxnk levelers or boards. Have a good trip it is a fantastic place to visit. We are planning on 2 months next year with our pup. When you get back be sure to give us all a trip report.
I was going to order mine from here. Upon checkout I got a weird feeling and googled their name. HORRIBLE reviews about over charging customers, not packing shipments for protection and no customer service. I ordered mine from Camping world on a Monday and hoped to have it by pull out friday for our first trip, It was on my porch when I got home Wednesday :)

RE: Stupid Question, I think
I had this same issue the first time we brought ours home but just contributed it to being unlevel in our gravel driveway. Hoping to get a dry spell to move it to the concrete side of the drive to reopen and level.
One thing on that. Using regular levels, where do you place them? On the front A Arm where the hitch is?

Don't know about the cleaning stuff, but I would bet the dealer would be more than happy with selling you the replacement parts regardless if you bought the camper from them.

We are picking up our first PUP tonight after putting a deposit down yesterday. We made sure to check under mattresses, inside cabinets for water damage. Check the canvas real good for tears/holes. Check your tires, under carriage frame work, do appliances/Electric/water work? Have them put it up and down for you to make sure everything functions as it should. Check for Weight compare to what you'll be towing it with.....
I'm know very little so others can chime in more, but these are things we looked at along with cleanliness, smell, but we were looking at older campers than you.

We used Eternabond Tape.....
Next, we used lap sealant.... The next day we Eternabonded the whole seam on that side...
Can all these items be picked up at like Walmart or are they RV Specific? I'm picking up our first PUP tonight and and a complete noob to everything about them.

I couldn't believe it when I read this post. We are picking up our New To Us 93 Starcraft tonight and it also needs the same caulking replaced. Wow, I really hope the guy didn't sell our from underneath us after giving him a deposit! You didn't buy this in Columbus Ohio yesterday after 7pm did you?
