It is better to stay off the Interstate highways and take the less traveled roads. The smaller roads I have found are generally in better condition and not near as much traffic. You don't need to travel 500 miles a day. We have traveled less than 100 miles and stayed for a few weeks.
I found it hard to get out of vacation mode. When I did, I have enjoyed full timing much better. There is a lot of country you can drive past if you are going to fast.
Carefree of Colorado awning problem
We had a gust of wind come up and pulled about 6 to 8 inches of awning from the metal covering. What would be the easiest way to put the awning back into the metal covering? I really don't want to take it totally out and put it back in if I don't have to. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
