Very happy. I had to have the roof on my AF 5'er a couple of years ago due to heavy snow damage. They did an excellent job and a couple of upgrades were included as well. Yes, they were cheaper also as I had two local bids when I called AF. Of course I had to travel some to get the unit over there but it was a very good experience all the way around.
We've had ours for 13 years and love it. They are engineered and built right. Our daughter and her family have had one for two years with no complaints. They are about as good a value as you can get in an RV. Good luck. And you might need luck to get one back east. We are about 5 hours away from the Northwoods factory where they are made.
It's one of the best engines. We had it in a 2000 Chevy 2500. Bought it new and over a 12 year period of time put 185000 miles on it towing a 25' 5th wheel around 12 states, mostly up and down the west coast. We gave it to our daughter who has a hobby farm and the truck now has well over 200000 miles on it. It is a keeper. We now have a V10 due to being blindsided by a great deal but I have a lot of respect for that 6.0 liter.
