Even a regular half ton could handle it.
Look back at the sixties & seventies and see what they hauled, before the legal side took over & led you to believe what they decided to print on the glovebox sticker. Scaremongering seems to rule all aspects of most peoples life.

On the narrow road to my storage lot, there is exactly the same situation. A wooden telephone pole and a crowned road surface. Every few days I can see that the pole has been hit at cabover height by some truck. I barely missed it once...

And why not run it on 12 v ? on my fridge there is a 12 v position, seems to work fine when driving or when the solar panels are charging the battery

the Dometic ca 1000 should be fine, I'm thinking of buying one & run it with my Honda 1000 or even on 12 volts with a inverter they supply.

blown refrigerator fuse on Bigfoot, can't find it...
After connecting to shore power, the fridge only works on 110v , no way to use gas, and the fridge light is off, so I assume it's a fuse.
The fridge is Electolux RM 5401 with no fancy electronics and is is a 1996.
I also have a hard time removing the outside vent cover, which way should I pull once the 2 plastic screws are in the open position ?

I haven't seen the guy in the Devil costume this year. Our own superman Lance is right up there in third or forth. Gives us old guys a boost.
Don't worry, he's still there & as active as ever, he even appeared the first day in Monte-Carlo

:E:BEWARE ! They caused my truck's frame to split twice.
Same truck , same bags , same mounting.
Had the frame repaired, bags removed, & 60000 miles trouble free with my heavy Bigfoot & Supersprings
With those bags , the entire weight of the TC is balancing on that bracket and the frame will split in two after you hit a few potholes.
Those Hydroformed frames are too weak to withstand that kind of pressure Check this old thread with pics of a split frame (not mine)
