RE: Michelin XPS rib or Goodyear G614

We went with the Michelin XPS. We found a good price online and took that price to Americas tires and they matched it. Still expensive but better than their regular price.

RE: Trying to make a deal

We bought our Raptor 300MP from RVWholesalers.com and had it delivered to our front door in CA from Indiana and it was alot less than 46K with delivery. And we had nothing to trade in. I would continue to look around. There are deals to be made. You just have to find the place that wants to make them. You also have to be willing to walk away if it is not what you are looking for.

RE: MX Gear Donations

We always just hand ours down to family and friends. The problem is we always hand down and never get handed down to. Guess that is the joy of having the older kids. Would be nice if there was a place you could go and just exchange a small pair of boots for a bigger size. Make the rule, you hand one in and you can pick another in a different size.

RE: Any creative ways to store you ladder?

We cut a couple of inches off the bottom of ours just below the first step. It fits nicely now in our garage on the floor along the side wall.

RE: How many people have lost their camping "group"?

We have not seen any in our group sell their stuff. But the times they are willing to go have deffinently dwindled. If it is not for 3 or more nights, they would rather not spend the money. We still try and get out somewhere atleast once a month. Desert in the winter. Beach, mountains and lakes in the summer. We prefer to have company, but willing to go by ourselves if we have to.

RE: New Decals for our Raptor

Thanks Duane. I kind of like the all white look. Much easier to clean. But for those Keystone owners that would like to inquire about getting new decals...I emailed ownerrelations@keystonerv.com . I sent a few pictures to start with. Then they sent me a picture of our trailer with each decal numbered and asked that we take pictures of all the peeling decals and mark them with the cooresponding numbers. Then email the pictures back to them. It took a couple of days but got a response that they were sending decals. I did not have any problems. They were great to respond. We got our trailer in 2009 so it was deffinently out of keystones warranty period. I must say each time I have asked Keystone for something, they have had great customer service.

New Decals for our Raptor

Usually these posts are about problems we are having with our trailers but this one is different.... I just wanted to give a big thanks to Keystone and their customer service for stepping up and sending us a whole set of new decals for our 2009 Raptor. All they asked was send them pictures of our peeling decals and they shipped us a whole new set. Of course now we have to figure out getting the old off and the new on. But we are one step closer with the replacement decals. Thanks Keystone. You have not let us down yet.

Extendable Towing Mirrors

I have a 2002 Chevy 2500HD and I am looking to replace the side mirrors with extendable power mirrors for towing. Has anyone done this? If so is there a brand that is recommended? I am hesitant to just purcahse of the internet without recommendations, since I did this to replace mirrors on another vehicle and they ended up being junk. I would like something that is well made, but not outrageously expensive.
