RE: Won't be posting anymore . . .

My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. I lost my husband in 2006 and I truly know what you are going through. God Bless you and your family.

RE: $200 to clean fiver and roof?

The rv dealership we bought ours from want $20.00 ft. to put the protection on the rubber roof, 37 ft rv = $740.00. I think $200.00 sounds good if you don't want to do it yourself. If I could have had it done for that, I wouldn't have been up there doing it myself.

RE: Brussel Sprouts ??

I saw a good recipe on Essence of Emeril on Food Network this morning (Sunday). It had a bechamel sauce, topped with breadcrumbs, baked in the oven and then topped with cheese. Looked really good.

RE: Choosing white wine to cook with

Why ruin a good meal with cheap wine? If it doesn't taste good to drink, what makes you think it would make a meal taste good. There are plenty of good wines that are under $10.00, but I wouldn't pick the cheapest thing on the shelf. Go to a wine store and ask what is good and you will be surprised that you can get a good wine for reasonable price.

RE: Scary moment

We purchased the Blueox Bedsaver and it works well. Will catch the 5th wheel if it isn't hooked. Well worth the money.

RE: Disturbing

I just bought a golf cart only because my son was in a serious car accident and now can't walk very far. Unless I want to sit at the camper, I ride along with him. I also take my dog along for a ride and he loves it, but he also gets long walks numerous times a day for doing his business. Maybe there are some that totally rely on a golf cart just because they are lazy, but that isn't always the case.

Wanted: Virginia to RGV caravan

Are there any snowbirds that live on the east coast heading to the RGV for the winter? If so, are you interested in traveling with another rv? First time going alone in my 5th wheel and would feel better if had another couple to follow.

RE: Coleman RoadTrip Classic Grill- Do you like yours???

I like mine, don't find it hard to clean if you put water in the pan below the burners. Even cooking burgers or steaks, easy to clean.

RE: House/Pet sitting: What do you pay?

I pay $40.00 a day for overnight stay. She doesn't leave in the morning until around 9 am and returns around 6 pm.

RE: Here's an old recipe worth a repeat post: chicken pot pie

Just popped into rv.net today and saw that you were talking about my recipe. I have also changed it a little. I now brush crust with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt/pepper. Makes the crust brown better. Glad you enjoy the pot pie and it is easy to make.
