LP gas detectors

I have a 97 Damon Challenger motorhome and my LP gas detector keeps beeping every 4-5 minutes. two or three beeps each time. The green power light does not stay on. It will if you push the test button but then it will go back off. I have had the motorhome since 2004 and have never had any problems with them before. The one in the bedroom does not seem to work either. How long do these detectors last? I do not smell any gas and we have been out in it since sunday. It just started doing this last night (the one in the livingroom). I had not noticed the one in the bedroom. This is the second time we have been out this year, everything else checked out just fine on the first trip. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

RE: Vu Cube problems

Problem solved. I took the VuQube back today and bought the Winegard instead. The Winegard is fully automatic and no controllers to mess with. I had in setup fully in about 5 minutes and was watching Tv. I really like this one.

RE: Vu Cube problems

I just bought it today. I purchased it at camping world. I tried to call the tech service number that came with it, but they were already closed. Hoping to just maybe take the controller back to camping world and exchange it. I was just wondering if anyone else had had this problem. all the reviews that I read on this were good, except for the battery issue. Alot of people were getting dead batteries from the manufacturer. I thought that may be what I may have had. But I changed them three times.

Vu Cube problems

Just bought a Vu cube 1000. installed everything the way it was supposed to be done. Problem is the remote will not come on. Changed out the batteries three times so I know I put at least one set in that was good. Never did get it to come on. Anyone got any ideas, or did I just buy a $600.00 lemon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
