RE: Onan fuel filter leak
Just spoke with Onan and they have discontinued the use of the filter (because it leaks???) and recommend a $20 'adapter'. They have supposedly determined that 2 filters aren't needed.

Ahhh the Million Dollar Highway I think it is called. Drove it last yer in a 36' Class A. Accurate descriptions by others. Beautiful!!
If you are returning back south go through Telluride.

Onan fuel filter leak
I have an Onan Marquis Gold 5500 genset and twice have had the fuel filter spring a leak. The filter looks like this - http://www.cumminsonanstore.com/store/search.asp
Fortunately i discovered it in both instances before disaster struck.
I will be contacting Onan and the Consumer products Safety Commission regarding this.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
