RE: Steamboat State Park or Canon City, Co?

check out the Colorado springs/ pike's peak area. tons of stuff to do for all age groups. Mueller state park (south of divide) is a better campground than Cheyenne mtn (more trees)and very nice. you would have to check and see what's available for site availability.

RE: Fort Boonesborough State Park - KY

we didn't care for it and won't be back 1. too much noise (dump trucks from the quarry one after another, etc) 2. no shade to speak (not like camping in the woods at all) 3. too many golf carts speeding around continually

RE: Affect of trailer weight on mileage

changed from 15 foot 2500 lbs to 26 foot 5500 lbs lost 2 mpg (10.5 to 8.5) both mileages over a number of years. same tow vehicle.

RE: RV parks or State Parks by Wisconsin Dells

we go regularly to devils lake and mirror lake, both are nice parks. haven't been to rocky arbor. better get on reserveamerica.com right away to check out availabilities. I would guess that the pickings will be slim this late in the game as the sites can be booked 11 months out. I think you have a better chance at rocky arbor since it is less popular than the other two. good luck, donut
