RE: charging rv battery on 50 amps

enblethen, it is an older converter (2004 trailer) atwood mpd 35446. I read the brochure on it and I can't find a charge rate listed. it just says: low voltage power for charging.

RE: charging rv battery on 50 amps

triker33, it will but i'm pretty sure it would charge at a much lower rate than 10 amps.

RE: charging rv battery on 50 amps

pnichols, it is a schumaker and it says 50 amp engine starting like you said. 50-10-2 automatic with a slide for conventional and deep cycle. so i'm better off at 10 amps?

charging rv battery on 50 amps

on a trip this summer, we are going to be without elec for 7 consecutive days. I am planning to take the 27 deep cycle battery out of the trailer and recharge using the 50 amp setting on my battery charger which I will be plugging into a generator. I read elsewhere that 10 amps is pretty slow, but will 50 amps be too much and hurt the battery? I would disconnect the battery from the trailer so I don't fry the inverter? donut

RE: 99 year old on wrong side of road and no headlights in RV

my dad's keys were taken away when he went to the grocery store and couldn't remember why he was there. my mom who hadn't driven in 10 years said she was going to start driving again. she couldn't straighten up enough to see over the steering wheel. keys gone. they were both early 80s. the children or grandchildren need to grow a backbone. oh sure they might not like it for a while but how about protecting them and others.

RE: Ideas/Must sees along I 90

spam museum - Austin MN wasn't mentioned yet. it is pretty cool. also the visitor center and Missouri River overlook at Chamberlain SD is well worth the stop.

RE: Campgrounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Area 2018

pike lake state park about 25 nw of Milwaukee between slinger and Hartford. water & electric but you would have to take site 29 or 31 which are plenty big for your rig. it would be tight driving the one way loop to get to those sites but once you are there it is an easy drive out. you would have to reserveamerica to make reservations. as was said Harrington beach near Belgium, would also be good.

RE: Southern Idaho and Wyoming Ideas

south central Wyoming hwy 130. runs through the 'snowy range'. we drove once in mid-june and several manufacturers we testing snowmobiles along there. I talked to a guy and he said they like to test in the spring and summer as there is plenty of snow and good weather. the road was closed one day due to snow.
