RE: Interesting Test Drive of 1999 Dodge Pleasureway
Another thing it could be is that the rear drum brakes just needed adjusting. You can prove that by trying to move it with the emergency brake on. But with 45k on it maybe it just needed new brakes all the way around. In any event, having a mechanic check it out is a good idea.

RE: What lawn chair fits you and your Class B?
I've been buying Walmrt's bag lounger chairs and thought they were ok. Atleast they fit the class B. But I am getting tired of replacing them every year.

RE: Leveling Blocks
I gave up on the blocks. Take too much room, they break, have to put them together, taking time. For me the two plastic ramps I have work just fine.

RE: Replacing 9" TV in '95 B
I was always thinking that if I could get the swing arm to work then I could maybe swing it out to be able to see the tv from the front as that's where we eat our meals.

RE: Replacing 9" TV in '95 B
I have the very tv you have there. But hey it's working so I just bought a converter so it will work on digital. Thought it too much work to change tv types if the old one works. Maybe I am just lazy,ha.

RE: hw mch wld you realistically pay for a '04 RT w/140k miles
Oh...sorry, misunderstood. I thought you were thinking of BUYING not selling. And no I wouldn't do anything special to it to sell it other then cleaning it up well. You'll not get your money out of it with a new engine or transmission if it's running ok.

RE: hw mch wld you realistically pay for a '04 RT w/140k miles
I have a Pleasure-Way with 122k miles on it and it runs just fine and I get compliments on it's appearance. If you can get it fairly cheap and you love the R/T buy it. Just put aside some cash for a transmission o/h and some for the engine and accessories. It certainly helps if you can do the work on it yourself though.

RE: First Timer: Best way to learn about our New RV?
There are alot of books on rv maintance which explains the systems and how they operate. I carry a couple where ever I travel. Also carry a manual on the vehicle systems.

RE: B tire rotation
I rotate and rebalance every 5k. The reason being it's free from where I bought the tires. I don't notice any difference in handling or anything but maybe it's worth having someone else look at the tires now and then.

RE: '95 Ford Falcon 190 "loft" front windows cracked
If I had the problem I would try going to our local "Tap Plastic" place. If you can get the window out in one piece they could maybe fabricate one out of plastic using the window as a mold. Worth a thought.

RE: Shocks
That seems to be majority opinion. Years ago my shocks were bad and I put them on. Stopped the rebound bounce. Supposedly last a long time too.

RE: Water Pump
The last time it happened to me it was in a Walmart parking lot. My wife was outside and noticed a huge stream of water coming out from under the rv. I was inside trying to wash my hands. She started yelling, another lady like took off as she didn't know what all was happening. Kind of funny actually. Water line was rubbing against structure. Repaired with a plastic pipe union. I carry an extra now for next time.

RE: How to Reduce Overall Cost? MPG vs initial expense.
I've always thought that, putting mileage aside and buying used, a diesel was a good choice if your comparing high miles gas compared to high miles diesel.
