Just found out today we will not be able to attend. A vendor from work offered me extremely great seats and perks to attend Preakness in MD on Saturday. Can't pass up seeing Orb make a run at the Triple Crown.

We re only interested in dads that have skills that translate into fixing our rvs that constantly break down
I guess I am out... My nickname is Stone Cold Sexy...
I also have skills that enable me to multitask by drinking an adult beverage and supervise RV repairs. I am also taking applications for my mentor program too...

Cold days like this make me long for camping. :) I think we're taking the moho down to the beach today at Fire Island Nat'l Seashore to enjoy the view and get a small fix. :b
Has me counting the days till we board the plane for SW Florida next week and some warm weather.

Just returned from a great trip. The park is well cared for and close to all the island has to offer.
Temps were in the high 60's every day. Makes the 34 degrees here in PA feel like a heat wave.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort
We are leaving next Tuesday after the kids finish school and headed to Hilton Head for the Thanksgiving weekend.
We will be staying at the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort. Anyone else going to be around?

We've been to Mt. Vernon a few times and it never fails to excite us and make us proud. How many times have you been to Gettysburg? We live in Kentucky and have visited G'burg several times. My grandson made his first trip there with us last summer and was very impressed. He wants to go back and also to Strasbur to the train museums. I only mention this because I notice you're from Penn.
Funny you mention Gettysburg. We live only 45 minutes and have only visited a handful of times.

Visited family this weekend in Northern Virginia. We spent the weekend at Pohick Bay Regional Park near Lorton.

I saw the same info. Also noticed we will receive a refund for any reservations made at the State parks.
We are headed to the Jellystone closer to the beach. They are having some fall / pumpkin activities for the kids and my wife will have fun shopping at the outlets in Rehoboth Beach.
I also have no desire to tromp in the mud. They are still planning on having the event and at least of the machines are on site.

If the weather looks like it will be fine we will be there camping in the hay field with everyone else. Last year was cold & it was nice having the warm trailer handy.
Will probably be at Killens for a few days before the Chunk.
This will be our first time to Killens. Are the sites large enough for a 40' Class A?

We are thinking about it. Went last year. Camped at the chunk. Killens, a favourite, is a bit of a drive. Part of the specialness of things like the Chunk is actually being there. I would not sweat the mud. They are usually prepared to tow you out. Getting stuck is all part of the adventure. I got stuck at Oskosh Air Adventure last year. Got myself out minutes before the monster farm tractor showed up to tow me out.
HA! - No farm tractor hooking to the front of my coach. We have ATV's when we want to play in the mud. I'll take chance of waking the kids up early and braving the traffic.
