RE: JT's Elephant Foot Jack Pads

I use a couple of 2X8X10" boards if needed. Real easy and they last a long time.

RE: Do I really need a sliding hitch?

Was that a DUALLY short-bed on the previous page?? I personally have never seen one.

RE: Lazy Days Salesman

Most RV sales people crawl out from under a rock to greet you.....and it only gets worse from there. It's good to know the Lazy Days team is some what human.

RE: Raising Fifth wheel

You can get another 1.5" or so by simply replacing your spring equalizers with this heavy duty Dexter wet bolt kit. clicky

RE: Using "maneuvering" position on slider

My Curt slider only requires pulling the slider handle and rotating it 10 degrees. It will lock into 'maneuver' position. I manually lock the trailer brakes while driving forward slowly and the hitch will slide until I hear that distinct 'clank' and watch the handle lock back in the vertical position ensuring the hitch is locked in place. The opposite procedure to slide the hitch back into 'Tow' position for travel. Very easy and very quick. No disconnecting or farting around with landing gear etc.

RE: Picked our new cougar today!

I couldn't view the pic. The link states I need 'permission'.

RE: Hide-a-spare

Excellent idea. I went to the Website for pricing but couldn't even find the product number. Anyone have an idea what the msrp is for this?

RE: First Trip Of the Season

What is the name of this campground?? Good news spreads fast, bad news even faster.

RE: First Trip

At 70 large for a new pickup, I just about spit my pepsi across the room.

RE: Miles per day

I've done 600 miles a few days in a row headed down south. Not again. I limit my dirves to 7-8 hrs tops and stop every coupla hours to top the tank and drain the bladder.

RE: boxed curtain valances

My Jayco TT had the box valances screwed into the ceiling. I'd stare at the suckers every morning in bed when i woke up.

RE: Handheld Remote control for awning, rear jacks.slides,etc.?

I use mine for hitching\unhitching and coming back after dark. It's a 'double remote' built into one controller. The top portion of the key fob controls the awning and patio light. The lower section controls the slides and landing gear.

RE: 1995 starcraft lumastar 280 ck Buy it or not?????

Keep looking. There are tons of fivers out there. Many are newer and bound to be closer for you.

RE: Moving pin box on Komfort 5th wheel.

Or...remove the shroud?

RE: Fifth wheel investment

It's disposable like a car or truck, not to be considered an 'investment'. Enjoy your trailer whichever you decide on but realize it will depreciate to nothing in 20 yrs.

RE: Cord rubbing on tailgate

The paint damage to the tailgate was the catalyst for me to install an in-bed plug. They are cheap and an easy install.
