RE: Campgrounds in St. Joseph, MO

The Worlds of Fun campground is right beside I-435. Too much noise for me. Basswood is a great place. Every now and then it gets noisy too because the KCI airport is just a couple of miles away. Great ameneties and nice staff. Big play area and pool for the kids. If you choose this place try to get a spot on the hill or in the back. They are much more spacious than the ones up by the store. Also as an FYI Mathew Mcconaughey camped there a few years ago while touring the nation promoting his film Sahara. Good luck and be safe

RE: Forest River Sucks!!!

I am on my 3rd in a row Forest River product. My current unit has been to the shop once to replace a door hinge in the bedroom. My last 2 were never in the shop for anything. IMO FR is very good product. I would try fixing the decals yourself. You may be able to take a blow dryer to the bubbled spots, get them warm and use a credit card or something similar to work the bubbles out. Good luck!

RE: KOA in Sioux Falls

I stayed at this KOA 2 years ago enroute to and coming home from the Sturgis SD area. The staff was very friendly and the place was spotless. Sorry to hear your having issues with the rates. I dont recall what we paid but it was within reason or I wouldnt have stayed. Good luck!

RE: Who is camping for Easter weekend?

I am heading to a little town called Hermann, MO. in the east central part of the state. Its a cute little German town known for their wines and german cuisine. Cant wait to head out Friday morning.

RE: Branson luxury resorts?

I agree with ABC. I stayed there 2 or 3 years ago and the staff was great, the place stays clean. Its very close to everything on the strip as well.

RE: Former DOTL member crosses the Rainbow Bridge

So sorry for your loss. Our 4 legged friends are our family. I have a 13 year old airdale/shepherd mix that has really started to show her age and it breaks my heart to know that day is coming. Take care.
